All knives have superior quality silver plated hollow handles that are attached to world famous Sheffield stainless steel blades. This is a vintage set of cutlery that has the normal signs of use with some black marks on the blades. It has been in storage for a while so will benefit from a polish before you use it for the first time as I have only polished the pieces in the photo for the place setting. The wooden box does have a few marks on the outside and but has done a super job protecting its contents and has enough space to add a further four place settings.
