All pieces are stamped on the underside of the handle of the spoons and forks with MAPPIN & WEBB MAPPIN PLATE mark and on the blades with the M TRUSTWORTHY MAPPIN & WEBB SHEFFIELD mark. All knives have superior quality silver plated hollow handles that are attached to world famous. This is a vintage set of cutlery that has the normal signs of use. The wooden case is also the original Mappin & Webb canteen that does have some marks & knocks but has done a good job looking after its contents and comes with a working lock & key. The cutlery has been in storage for a while so will benefit from a polish before you use it for the first time. I have also added a couple of photos to the listing showing this pattern in a vintage Mappin & Webb brochure.
