Description:- Vintage Housley International Silver Plated 44 Piece Kings Pattern Canteen. 6 x Dinner Knives – Approx 9.5 inches in length. 6 x Dessert Knives – Approx 5.5 inches in length. 6 x Dinner Forks – Approx 8 inches in length. 6 x Dessert Forks – Approx 7 inches in length. 6 x Soup Spoons – Approx 6.75 inches in length. 6 x Dessert Spoons – Approx 6.75 inches in length. 6 x Teaspoons – Approx 5.25 inches in length. 2 x Serving Spoons – Approx 8 inches in length. Condition:- In good used condition; there are obvious signs of use such as scuffs and some faint scratches but nothing that detracts hugely from the overall appearance. There is some residual tarnish to polish off. The mahogany finish canteen box is in good order though there is some loss of polish to the lid. Maker:- The knives are unbranded, the remaining flatware stamped Housley International as is the canteen box. My thoughts are these were made in the Far East circa, but are good quality.
