Vintage Francis Greaves & Sons Silver Service 44 Piece Canteen Of Cutlery. This set has barely been used and has been extremely well cared for. It’s beautifully presented in a very sturdy wooden box that is also in excellent condition but for a bit of dust. It would make an excellent gift for a wedding or for anyone who enjoys playing host! Hopefully I’ve captured the condition sufficiently in the photos. It looks incredibly elegant when laid out. The 44 pieces are comprised of. 6 table knives. 6 table forks. 6 soup spoons. 6 dessert knives. 6 dessert forks. 6 dessert spoons. 2 table spoons. All pieces are stamped on the underside of the handle with the EPNS A1 SHEFFIELD ENGLAND mark that authenticates them as Electro Plated Nickel Silver (highest quality). The knives are traditionally made with superior quality, silver plated, hollow handles and blades made from world famous Sheffield steel.
