Vintage 1928 Original Zeppelin Cocktail Shaker 14 Pieces Extremely Rare
Here is an original 1928 Iconic Zeppelin Cocktail Shaker. These are very rare, and highly sought after! It is Silver Plated and is in excellent condition for it’s age. The Silverplating does show some age, but is still in very good shape. There are no dents to the main body. The threads are perfect! Every piece screws together very freely. The tails fins are nice and straight. The clips that hold the gondola in place are intact and nice. This set is complete except for the gondola and spoons, which I do not have. The insides have a beautiful Gold Plating on all the pieces. The insides are all very clean. It consist of the following: The main body, the dome top, tail fin, inside flask with screw cap, strainer with built in reamer, a cover for the strainer, four shot glasses, a champagne shot glass that has a stem and corkscrew. The champagne shot glass top also acts as a funnel. The inside flask does have two tiny dimples on the top as can be seen in photo’s #10 , #12. There are no dents other than that. The original cork on the flask cap is in very good shape. The corkscrew is very sharp and the threads are perfect! It is 3 1/4″ wide x 12 1/2″ tall. All 14 pieces are in excellent working order and fit perfectly inside and together. The pieces are all marked. The tail fin is marked Germany. The main body is marked on the bottom Germany with the number 9 on it, showing this was the ninth one made, Wow! The cap on the flask is marked Germany. The four shot glasses are marked Germany. The corkscrew is marked D. M 929916 and Made In Germany. The funnel is marked Made In Germany. The strainer is marked D. 894384 Made In Germany. The cover is marked Germany.
