All knives have superior quality silver plated hollow handles that are attached to stainless steel blades. This is a lovely set of cutlery that has not been used and all pieces are still in protective sleeves. It has been in storage for a while so will benefit from a gentle polish before you use it for the first time as I have only polished the pieces in the photo for the place setting. The wooden box also looks great and has done a great job protecting its contents.
