This listing is for an antique service for 6, English Sheffield silver plate and bone handle fish cutlery set with its original fitted case by Walker & Hall. The set includes 6 knives which measures 8 1/2 inches long and 6 forks which are 7 1/4 inches long. The fitted wood case, when closed, measures 2 1/2 inches high, and is 8 by 10 inches across the top. The flatware set features a cream colored carved bone handle with a ribbed silver plate collar. The blades of the knives have a notch at the top and are engraved with scrolling design. The forks have silver plate tines with an engraved linear design. They are marked on verso “W&H S I EP”. The fitted storage case is wood with a light blue velvet interior, it is hinged on one side and has an escutcheon with a safety clasp at the front.
