Presented within the original morocco leather covered case with royal blue and silk lining. This is one of the nicest sets that I have come across. The Mother of Pearl is in fantastic condition – very well looked after set. Knife Length: 18.4cm (7.25). Fork Length: 15.0cm (5.90). Supplied by Arthur & Co Ltd (Glasgow) – knifes marked with A & Co with the letter G following. We believe this set dates to around 1910. Arthur & Co was started in 1837 by James Arthur. The firm, active in High St, Paisley, became Arthur & Fraser (1849), Arthur & Co (late 1850’s) and Arthur & Co Ltd (1878). The firm was active at Buchanan St and later at Miller St, Glasgow.
