This handsome Art Deco silver plated lemon squeezer which dates from c1920 has an unusual acrylic round handle and is a charming usable piece. This antique citrus press comes in 2 parts with the upper pip catcher being removable so your lemon, orange or lime juice can be poured into your cocktail shaker using the spout. A stylish barware item that will look great displayed with other cocktail accessories. Marks: Marked to base with EPNS. Dimensions: Width including handle: 11 cm (4 1/4). Depth: 9 cm (3 1/2). All pieces are stamped on the underside of the handle of the spoons and forks with RD 881243 ANGORE SILVER PLATE CO LTD EPNS mark and engraved on the blades with the Angora Silver Plate Co Ltd MADE IN SHEFFIELD ENGLAND mark. All knives have superior quality hollow handles that are silver plated that are attached to world famous Sheffield stainless steel blades. This is a vintage set of cutlery that has the normal signs of use. It has been in storage for a while so will benefit from a polish before you use it for the first time as I have only polished the pieces in the photo for the place setting. The wooden canteen is also the original individually racked cabinet that does have some marks and worn in places on the interior lining but has done a great job looking after its contents. I has a lock and key but I have not been able to get this to work.
