Amazing and impressive 44 piece silver cutlery from luxury silversmith Arthur Price. Six place settings and two large serving spoons. Each piece is heavy and intricate. A gift from circa 25 years ago, but never really used – only used once, and soup spoons never used, a couple still in plastic. The handles of the spoons and forks stamped with EPNS A1 SHEFFIELD ENGLAND. The knife blades are stamped with the Arthur Price of England Sheffield mark. The knives have silver plated hollow handles that are attached to world famous Sheffield stainless steel blades, nice and sharp. The wooden box does have a few marks but protects the cutlery just fine – they’ve hardly tarnished even though I haven’t ever polished them. Treat yourself to luxury for a fraction of the original price. A classic that will never go out of style.

An elegant 44-piece canteen of cutlery features the timeless Seneca design by ONEIDA, crafted from high-quality silver plate. It comes complete with a mahogany case lined in green felt. The hinged case measures 40cm x 29cm x 8cm. The set comprises 6 table knives, 6 table forks, 6 dessert knives, six dessert forks, 6 teaspoons, 6 soup spoons, six fruit spoons and 2 serving spoons. It was an unwanted gift and has been used once only as courtesy to the gifter. It has been in storage since. As you can see from the pictures the cutlery is still in its plastic sleeves. There is the odd bit of evidence of minimal use to the case and cutlery. This is only mentioned in the interest of honesty. The style of this set is reminiscent of the Community era, with its post-1940 style. This can be collected. It is a heavy item.
