The tops are made of silver plate (pure silver plating). And the bottoms are made of felt. Comes in an original case with 8 placemats and 2 serving mats. Serving mat diameter 23 cm, 9.0 inches. Placemat 17.5 cm, 6.9 inches. Case 240 x 245 x 90 mm. There is discoloration on the back edge. There are also some minor scratches, fine scratches, and discoloration in the details. Although there is some aging and wear in the details, it still retains a very beautiful mirror shine. The case has a peeled divider inside, which suggests that it originally had a fixed divider. The clasp is torn and the inside is frayed, causing a lot of blue fibers to fall off. It fits just right, but please consider this a bonus.
