This beautiful antique silver plated Nautilus spoon warmer from Sibler and Fleming is a true gem. With its intricate hand engraved pattern, this piece is a testament to the superb craftsmanship of the late 19th century. It is marked AMS, indicating its authenticity and provenance. SILBER & FLEMING SILBER & FLEMING LTD London Business established in 1854 by Nobel Hutchinson Fleming and Albert Marcius Silber (as junior partner). Fleming retired in 1876, and Albert Silber continued the business, maintaining the name Silber & Fleming. The firm became a limited liability company in 1886 and was acquired in 1898 by Faudel Phillips & Sons. This item is listed in their pattern book published in 1889 (pg 60 item 1059) and is perfect for collectors of antique serving pieces and silver plate enthusiasts. Its age, dating back to 1880 – 1886, adds to its historical value. The spoon warmer is in good overall condition for its age, with slight wear to the plate on the top of the lid and a small dent in the top.
