Majority of the pieces are still in the original cellophane sleeves and you will find tarnishing to some pieces. This is a vintage set so please expect to polish. Every knife is made the traditional way with superior quality hollow handles which are gold plated and blades which are made from world famous Sheffield stainless steel which all have SHEFFIELD ENGLAND logo on them. All other pieces are marked EPNS A1. With this set not only will you be adding style to your dining table, but also making sure you are prepared for every eventuality. The wooden Canteen has a green leather top, the lid does does have some scuffs and marks commensurate with age. Is in good condition and has done a great job protecting its contents. Around the edge of the leather you see in gold leaf the Fleur-de-lis pattern.
