Antique Army & Navy CSI Oak Cased Silver Plated Part 82 Pieces Canteen Cutlery
Item You are looking at an Antique Army & Navy CSI Oak Cased Silver Plated Part 82 Pieces Canteen of Cutlery. The cutlery was made by William Hutton & Sons for the Army & Navy Co-operative Society Institute. It would have been made as a companion to an officers campaign chest and furniture to allow him to dine in a manner fit for a British Officer whilst serving overseas. Due to it’s 120+ age some of the parts are missing, please see condition report for details. It has 2 lift out trays holding cutlery and the bottom on the box also holds cutlery. It is extremely heavy and is lifted by 2 brass handles on the side of the box. The brass plate on top is not engraved. Please note I do not accept cheques under any circumstances.
