This listing is for a huge lot of silverplate that has been in my family since the early 1900’s. I don’t use it, and probably never will, so I decided to make it available to someone who would appreciate it for its usefulness and beauty. The lot includes 25 pieces (including lids) of silver plate and 1 piece of sterling. It is heavy, weighing in at 28lbs+! I don’t see any dents on any of the pieces, however a couple have been “over cleaned” as they look like little spots of silver are missing. Some of the pieces are also in need of cleaning. If you want to see pictures of individual pieces, please message me and I will send them to you. The pieces are as follows. 3 Oval Platters (the 2 smaller have meat juice wells). #1 20″ x 15″ – marked EPNS Reed & Barton. (has a “dirt” mark on it). #2 16 1/2″ x 12″ with 4 feet – marked Castleton International Silver Company 4810. #3 12″ x 8 1/2″ with 4 feet – marked Poole Georgian EPNS 1042. #1 13 1/4 diameter – marked Meriden S P Co, International S Co 2807. #2 10 1/8 diameter – marked Oneida Silverplate. 2 Oval Covered Vegetable Servers (2 pieces each) – Covers have handles – 13″ x 9″ – marked Spartan, International Silver Plate E2269. 1 Round footed bowl 7 3/4 diameter – no marking. 3 Round nut bowls. #1 7 1/4 diameter – marked International Silver Co. #2 6 diameter – marked Wallace Sterling H105 (this is the one Sterling piece in the set). #3 5 3/8 diameter and on a short foot – marked LBS Co 1655. #1 6 3/4″ diameter & 5 5/8″ tall – marked Wallace EPNS N6696. #2 6 5/8″ diameter & 5 7/8″ tall – marked Sheridan Silverplate. #3 5 5/8″ diameter & 3 1/4″ tall – marked Oneida USA. 1 Gravy Boat with detached Underplate – marked Reed & Barton 4090. 1 Gravy Boat with NO Underplate – marked Sheridan (and then other words I cannot make out). 1 Cigarette Box – marked with a lion on top and underneath some symbols & 3B. 1 Small Plate with an etched glass bottom 5 3/8 diameter – no marking.
