This is a rare late 19th-century c. 1880 Art Nouveau silver-plated hot plate handle or holder, patented and beautifully decorated with stylised floral and leaf motifs. Made in Sheffield and stamped T. No monograms or inscriptions. DIMENSION: Length 17.8cm (7). CONDITION: Great condition for its age, with only minor loss of plating on the back of the grip. No dents or repairs. The handle fits any plate with a standard rim thickness. Authentic vintage and antique pieces.
