Vintage silver plated Mappin & Webb rattail 48 piece cutlery canteen oak box
A vintage silver plated cutlery set canteen made by Mappin & Webb in very good used condition. All in the rattail pattern. Knives are stainless steel with composite faux bone handles. This canteen will date to 1930-50’s. The oak box is very art deco in its style. Some light wear, all in keeping with age related use. The oak canteen box is in very good condition, lined in blue felt with a push button release for the knives in the lid which works very well. 6 dinner knives measure 24cm long with stainless blades & composite handles. 6 dinner forks measure 20cm long. 6 dessert knives measure 21cm long with stainless blades & composite handles. 6 dessert forks measure 17.5cm long. 6 dessert spoons measure 17cm long. 6 soup spoons measure 17cm long. 6 teaspoons measure 12cm long. 4 serving/table spoons measure 20.5cm long. 2 piece carving fork & steel etc.
