Superb Vintage 76 Piece ART DECO CUTLERY CANTEEN – Oneida Community Plate Sheffield – 1930s. Here we have for sale a superb vintage 76 piece Art Deco cutlery canteen that was made by Oneida Community Plate Ltd of Sheffield in the 1930s. The cutlery is high quality and silver plated. It is in excellent condition for its age with only isolated marks and blemishes here and there. The handles are faux bone (composite material). This set comes in the original canteen case which is in very good condition inside and out as pictured with only very minor cosmetic wear and marks. The hinges are in full working order and the lid lifts smoothly to 90 degrees and stays upright unrestrained. There is a lock but no key. The cartouche is unengraved. The cutlery comprises 76 pieces in total, grouped as follows. 12 x Dinner Forks. 6 x Dinner Knives. 12 x Dessert Forks. 6 x Dessert Knives. 12 x Dessert Spoons. 6 x Soup Spoons. 11 x Tea Spoons. 6 x Coffee Spoons. 2 x Serving / Table Spoons. 1 x THREE PIECE Meat Set, fully complete. 1 x Canteen Case. 45cm x 33cm x 12cm.
