All knives have superior quality silver plated hollow handles that are attached to stainless steel blades. This is a lovely set of vintage cutlery that has the normal signs of use. It has recently been polished so is clean and ready to use. The wooden box does have some marks as per the photos but has done a great job protecting its contents and has enough space to store a further Four place settings.
