Antique Reed & Barton 5 Piece Silver Plate Tea Service AMERICANA Pattern 7036
Offered is this gorgeous Reed & Barton tea and coffee service. It is in the Americana pattern #7036 in silver plate, dating from the 1930s. This is an elegant and unfussy Art Deco style of beverage service that would be equally at home in a Victorian parlor or a mid century modern dining room. The lines are graceful and classic. Lidded coffee pot, 10″ high and 9″ across. Lidded teapot, 8″ high and 8 1/2″ across. Lidded sugar, 4 1/2 ” tall and 5 3/4″ across. Open creamer, 5″ tall and 4″ across. Tray, 22 1/2″ by 16 1/4″. All the pieces are in excellent condition, except that the tray has quite a bit of superficial scratching, as is common with these pieces, and can readily be buffed out by a jeweler, if you choose. There is some minor tea/coffee staining inside the pots.
