The knives all have silver plated hollow handles that are attached to Sheffield stainless steel blades that have the John Stephenson 1820 SHEFFIELD ENGLAND mark on them. The spoons and forks all have the EPNS A1 SHEFFIELD ENGLAND mark on the underside of the handles. This is a vintage set that has the normal signs of use and has recently been polished so is clean and ready to use. The wooden case is also in super condition and has taken good care of its contents. Checking through the set I note that four of the table knives are clear of the John Stephenson logo on the blades and one of the dessert. Knives has a different makers logo but are still in the same pattern so are a match to the rest of the pieces.
