Description:- Vintage Lewis Rose Sheffield EPNS A 6 Place 44 Piece Old English Pattern Canteen. Six x Composite Handled Dinner Knives – 9.25 inches in length. Six x Composite Handles Dessert Knives – 8 inches in length. Six x Dinner Forks – 7.5 inches in length. Six x Dessert Forks – 6.5 inches in length. Six x Soup Spoons – 6.5 approx inches in length. Six x Dessert Spoons – 7 inches in length. Six x Teaspoons – 5 inches. Two x Serving spoons – 8.25 inches. Three Piece Carving set. The cutlery is in good used condition commensurate with it’s age, dating from the 1960’s -1970’s judging by the style of the wooden canteen box. There are definite scuffs and faint scratches from use to all pieces (most obvious to the bowl of one of the serving spoons) and one dessert spoon has a very small bubble spot to the bowl, one dessert knife a very small spot to the handle. The light oak canteen box is structurally sound, unusually the lid lifts off, and the top of the lid has stains and some other marks. Maker:- The knife blades are stamped For Lewis Rose Sheffield England and Larko Stainless, the rest of the flatware is stamped Larko (a trade name used by Lewis Rose) EPNS A 7 dwts Doz.
