Edwardian Oak Cased 48 Piece Silver Plated Canteen Of Cutlery James Dixon&Sons. A very good cased set of cutlery by the well known silversmith James Dixon and Sons Sheffield. The spoons and forks are all silver plated , the knives being steel bladed with bovine handles. Two of the butter knives are near identical period replacements as per second last image. All in all a wonderful set with no damage to box or cutlery also having original working lock and key. Please study all images as they form a good part of the description.
