Rare Large Barker Ellis Silver Plate Complete Tea Coffee Set III 1930s. Barker Ellis Stamp on bottom of tray. “III” etched on bottom of each tea set. The tray is very heavy compared to the set itself. The set seem very soft and easy to dent/bend. Can’t quite tell if the set is truly silverplated, but the silver has worn off in some areas. There are some dents and imperfections, look to the pics for cosmetics. The tray is surely silver plated though and HEAVY. This appears to be a limited edition set release in 1930s and very hard to find. Below are the approx weights/dimensions of each piece (width measurement is diameter of widest part of pots/bowls). Tray: 13.6lbs (6.20kg) ; 30.25 H x 19.5 W (77 x 50 cm). Coffee Pot: 1.70lbs (0.80kg) ; 12 x 5.5 (30 x 14 cm). Tea pot: 1.60lbs (0.70kg); 11 x 6 (28 x 15cm). Cream/Milk Pour: 0.80lbs (0.35kg); 7.5 x 4.25 (19 x 11 cm). Disposal Bowl: 0.70lbs (0.30kg); 5.25 x 5 (13 x 13 cm). Sugar Bowl: 1.10lbs (0.50kg); 9.25″ x 6″ (24 x 15 cm).
