Saxophon mundstück Tenor saxophone Sugal JB II 7 mouthpiece silverplated. Versand mit DHL Paket bis 2 kg. Tenor saxophone mouthpiece from Gary Sugal. Model JB II in silverplated brass. Tip opening is 7 and 89 is written faintly on the shank, which is probably the year of manufacture. This model was quickly discontinued by Gary Sugal. The story is that Dave Guardala complained that this model infringed his patent. I don´t know how true that is, but it certainly looks nearly identical to a Guardala externally. It is very comfortable to play due to its duckbill form. It plays brighter than an Otto Link but not as bright as a Dukoff D chamber. It was marketed as having a straight ahead Dexter Gordon kind of vibe. It plays very well and is suitable for straight ahead jazz as well as pop and rock. Has a fat, rich tone. Plenty of power and flexibilty. The condition is used with some plating loss on the table. The original blue sparkle biteplate is missing. It has never been worked on or altered. Other than light scratches, plating loss and missing biteplate there is no damage. Just wear and tear from normal use. Please see the pictures for the condition.
