Description:- a very good Silver Plated Canteen of Kings Pattern Cutlery by the Sheffield Maker Cooper Ludlam. And Two Table Serving Spoons. Condition:- In very good lightly used condition, there are some scuffs and scratches but nothing that detracts from the overall condition of the cutlery. The Mahogany veneer canteen box is also in decent condition with a small loss of veneer to one corner and a scratch to the lid. The Knife tray is also slightly loose; this could be because the dessert knives are a tight fit for some reason. The City Of Sheffield certificate has a facsimile signature for Peter Horton who was Lord Mayor Of Sheffield in 1987. Maker:- The knife blades are stamped for Cooper Ludlam the knife handles do not have any makers marks as is usual with silver plated handled knives after the 1940’s. All the other flatware is stamped EPNS A1 Sheffield England. The item “Vintage 44 Piece Canteen EPNS A1 Kings Pattern Cutlery by Cooper Ludlam 1987″ is in sale since Wednesday, August 26, 2020.
