The listing is for a monumental Victorian Quadruple Plate figural centerpiece basket which features butterflies and frogs at the base of each foot and a wreath of flowers draped between each of the legs while the center of the basket features a perched. The basket is marked with the E. Webster makers marks along with Quadruple Plate which dates it to pre 1913 when manufactures of continued the production of Quadruple Plate. The embossed or repousse design and patina are exceptional and the centerpiece has beautiful details and silver plate as shown in the pictures. The frame which holds the wave crest bowl stands almost 11 inches tall and with the bowl it stands about 13.5 inches tall and measures about 9.5 inches wide at the top and 9.75 inches wide at the base. The crested bowl is free of cracks or chips and is lovely. The silver plate base is also in good condition with beautiful patina and details. The base has 4 butterflies. One butterfly is missing a wing and one is slightly turned sideways. We do not believe in Buyers or Sellers Remorse. We will gladly answer. The frame which holds the wave crest bowl stands.
