CHIPPENDALE Design ELKINGTON Silver Service 60 Piece Canteen of Cutlery
Made in Sheffield circa 1960. EPNS A1 (Electro Plated Nickel Silver – Highest Quality). 60 Piece Set Consists of. 6 Teaspoons (some plate loss need replacements). 2 Piece Carving Set (knife missing). 4 Table Spoons (one in a different pattern). With this set not only will you be adding style to your dining table, but also making sure you are prepared for every eventuality. All pieces are stamped on the underside of the handle of the spoons and forks with the ELKINGTON PLATE mark. The knives are made the traditional way with superior quality hollow handles that are silver plated and blades which are made from world famous Sheffield Steel which are discreetly marked on the underside with the Elkington Sheffield England Logo. This is a vintage set of cutlery that has been used and does have pitting on the handles but is still a lovely set and perfectly usable. The solid wooden cutlery case does have a few scratches/marks on the outside. It has a fab, Art Deco claw feet design to this canteen. I dont have the key for the lock.
