EPNS A1 (Electro Plated Nickle Silver – Highest Quality). 44 Piece Silver Plated Cutlery Set Consists of. 2 Serving Spoons (kings Sheffield EPNS A1 but not Butler marked). With this set not only will you be adding style to your dining table, but also making sure you are prepared for every eventuality. All pieces are stamped on the underside of the handle of the spoons and forks with BUTLER EPNS A1 ENGLAND mark and on the blades with the GEORGE BUTLER & CO ART SHEFFIELD ENGLAND mark. All knives have superior quality silver plated hollow handles that are attached to world famous Sheffield stainless steel blades. This is a vintage set of cutlery that has been used minimally and is therefore in very good condition although it has been in storage so will need a polish. The serving spoons are replacements and tarnished but still Sheffield silver plated and in the kings design. The lovely solid wooden canteen does have a few marks on the outside and a large area in the corner which is damaged but in my opinion and has done a great job protecting the cutlery within. The knife holder in the lid will need glueing back as it does come out and the canteen isnt original to the set but still perfectly usable plus nice and compact.
