Vintage 1920’s Silverplated German Cocktail Shaker 10 Piece Set Rare
What an amazing set! This is a very rare 1920’s German 10 piece travel cocktail shaker set. This set has the outer shaker body, the inner large cup for shaking, two larger shot/drinking glasses, two smaller shot glasses, a strainer with built in reamer, a cover, condiment container with cover. This is one of the first ones made. Most sets have three shot glasses. This set has four. What is so unique about this set is the two shot glasses have a gorgeous etched edge around the rim. The set is in excellent condition for it’s age. The two lager shot/drinking glasses perfectly nest inside of each other and sits perfectly onto the top of the condiment container, then the two smaller shot glasses fit inside the lager ones and are secured by the reamer when covered. The cover is stepped and has a beautiful etching around each step. The lid also has the beautiful etching on it’s rim. The whole set is in excellent condition for being 100 years old. The Silverplating is in amazing shape, with minimal wear consistent with age. The pieces have a gorgeous gold plating on the insides. The insides are incredibly clean. The shaker is marked marked Made In Germany, as well as the shot glasses. The shaker outside body and inner large cup, is also marked with a capital B. All the pieces fit perfectly inside the shaker. The shaker is 3 1/2″ wide x almost 6″ tall. Most German shakers are only 4 1/2 tall, this is a nice larger one. What an amazing set to add to any serious collection. This is very hard to find and highly collectible shaker. It displays so wonderfully. This is a high quality, heavy set.
