A Mappin and Webb silver plate canteen in the “Pembury” pattern. Higher quality “Princes Plate” – thicker than the standard Mappin plate. The set comprises 6 of; table knives, dessert knives, table forks, dessert forks, dessert spoons, longer soup spoons, tea spoons. Plus 4 serving spoons, 2 sauce / gravy ladles, a soup ladle and sugar nips. Set is previously owned but comes to us in excellent condition. Please note that this is in the original oak canteen box. Fully signed 1st quality. Left to right, as above image: 8 3/8″, 5 1/4″, 8″, 7 1/4″, 7 1/4″, 8″, 9 3/4″, 8 1/2″. Ladles being 6″ and 9 1/2″ with the sugar nips 4 1/4. Cutlery excellent undamaged condition with very few signs of use. Chip to the veneer of the canteen box. Please see images above.
