One of the most iconic coffee and tea services of the 1930s made by the famous French silversmith company Ercuis is the Saigon model, created in 1934 and made until 1937. The second photograph is from a 1934 magazine. It is made up of 6 pieces the original five pieces and an Ercuis sugar tong to complete the set. All pieces are heavily silverplated with macassar ebony handles/knobs. The coffee pot measures 7 ¼ inches high to the top of the knob and is 3 ¾ inches in diameter. The tea pot is 6 ½ inches high and 4 ½ inches in diameter. The cream/milk jug is 3 ¼ inches high and 2 ½ inches in diameter. The lidded sugar bowl is 4 ¼ inches high and 3 7/8 inches in diameter.
